With green colored roof, it is one of the landmark buildings in Dresden. Interiors of the building are well preserved and impressive.

This enormous cathedral was build in XVIII century. Largest church in Saxony. Italian baroque style.

It was a very rainy day and this was a haven of peace. The contrast between the outside and the inside was surprising.

With it's green hued copper tower visible from all over it's easy to find this place and well worth it. The exterior is massive hinting at the massive interior with it's soaring ceiling and huge altar.

Equally I enjoyed modern architecture in the city. Religion is very important though it may have been helpful to see more in terms of new religious buildings.

We stayed with young children. Theg slept really well in water-bed! Such a nice experience. The owners are very friendly, rooms are very clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent. We loved this place and Dresden!

Although a bit smaller than the better known church, this one has a charm all its own. We were outside on New Year's Eve and fortunate to hear the beautiful bell tower.

The building from the outside is really beautiful. Like every building there it is impressive. Fairy tale looking city.

I am bringing a group of students to Dresden in May, and since we are coming from a Catholic university I am hoping to take them to mass. Are there services happening at the cathedral?
