Beautiful Atmosphere. Faust used to hang out here. Great Food and Location within the historic district of Leipzig. A must visit when in Leipzig.

Given the history we were pleasanty surprised by the food served to our group. The service was good although we were eating late, so no other customers. I was expecting the usual heavy German cuisne but it was very modern international.

Sitting atop of Auerbach's Keller is their charming little bar where you can sometimes listen to live piano music with your drinks. We were surprised that the bill was so reasonable, given how famous this venue is. To signal that closing time is approaching, a...More

This place is well known but our group had a very pedestrian mass meal with group service, so it's not a good read. In a beautiful mall in town center. Once it was probably darker and mustier, but it's all been tidied up to have...More

This restaurant is a tourist attraction, since Goethe drank and wrote here. Supposedly he wrote Faust here. It is the Madler Passage, down the stairs. The statues in the passage point to this story as well. The restaurant itself is one Leipzig's best but it...More
