Take time to explore the charming back streets and numerous spires of Lubeck. aside from the shopping area with the more modernist architecture the rest of the inner city retains its historic charm.

A mix of old and modern buildings. Worth a visit if you are arround. Some very nice little streets and good for a walk along the river.

We loved the friendly atmosphere of the town and the fact that there was such an interesting mix of old and new. A very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

Lübeck old town is very picturesque and a prime example of nordic brick gothic architecture. Despite its beauty it’s not too crowded and Lübeckers succeed in preserving a certain elegance.

Unfortunately Lubeck old town was destroyed after WWII. Now you can have very pleasant walk in the historic center. Many buildings are carefully restored and re-built.

No memory of entrance fee, we are always happy to pay entrance fees knowing how expensive it is to maintain and staff. I would consult website for specifics. Hope you have a safe trip.
