As long as you stick to the old town, this Hanseatic town is worth seeing. It’s particularly attractive alongside the river and if you take time to wander along the side streets. It’s not the most beautiful of the Baltic towns however and, if you’re...More

With a couple of hours free time in Lubeck while on a Coach Tour, there is no shortage of places of interest. Starting with the Square you see the magnificent Town Hall (Rathaus), and the Holstentor (an almost fairytale style building of two round towers....More

There is so much to see here - lots of churches , beautiful houses in various architectural styles, lovely little narrow streets. You can take a boat trip to get a good view of the city or just walk around and explore.

Visiting Lubeck was a highlight of our trip. The Oldtown is truly beautiful and old beyond just about anywhere you'll see, with lovely ornate buildings.

Lubeck old town is a beautiful collection of gorgeous buildings in distinctive hanseatic style. The streets make up for a lovely walk and the old town itself is the centerpiece. It's well lit so a night walk is also very nice.

I knew nothing of this town and loved it immediately. The strikingly beautiful architecture as I walked into and around town. The lively (in a German way) Italian festival in the central plaza. The walking streets full of life and surprises. Great cafes. I thought...More

Hi, Yes, the streets are walkable using a walker with wheels. There may be areas of cobble stones but there are more smooth streets than not. It is a great city to visit and check out the marzipan store to look at all the... More

No memory of entrance fee, we are always happy to pay entrance fees knowing how expensive it is to maintain and staff. I would consult website for specifics. Hope you have a safe trip.
