Fascinating place

This was an impressive visit - and a good way to escape the rain. A majestic blend of Moorish and Christian architectural styles on a grand scale. A 'must see'.

Night tour was magnificent. 9€ for pensioners, 18€ for everyone else. Informative video introduction then conducted tour with synchronised light show while listening to (a slightly florid) audio track. Only 100 tickets per night, so book in advance. Pick up your tickets at the venue earlier in the day, or previous day at EL Cortes Ingles department store. I suggest... More

The old mosque areas with the colored arches and columns that seem to go on for ever is absolutely amazing. The cathedral that the Catholics built inside is stunning but the highlight is the gigantic Morrison parts. This is a must do.

We had planned Ronda for a day trip but our air Bnb hosts suggested Córdoba if it was raining. We were lucky.

Who would have thought that a mosque could be stunning but this building is that and more. Aside from the fact that it is absolutely huge the architecture is amazing. The colours, design the vastness of the place are breathtaking. If you see nothing else in Cordoba you must see this mosque, truly spectacular.

If you came to Cordoba, surely you did not need this review :). Astonishing architecture. The mosque is about 1200 years old.

We planned to stop over on our road trip from Madrid to Seville. The parking around the Cathedral is hard to find but we found the 'Parking Mosque Cathedral' on the map which is a parking structure inside one corner of the mosque. Very tight spots but very convenient and cheap. A few minutes walk and we were in the... More

Make sure you get a guided tour. We found it immensely educational and very very nice. It takes you back in history. There are many little details that you would miss if not for the guide.

This is wonderful. It is all beautiful. The contrast between the beautiful but simple Moorish elements and the gilded, golden, and ornate Catholic parts is striking. Well worth a visit and we're glad we drove out of our way to see it. Roman bridge interesting too.

Stayed two nights and wish I could have stayed longer. The staff is smart, accommodating, and professional. They arranged an excellent tour of the city and helped with my train travel. My room was beautiful in every way. The bathroom was amazing with a great shower and large tub. Bed was deluxe and cozy. Would stay here again in a... More
