I like visiting art exhibitions generally but I found this place depressing. Most of the paintings have the same subject and the overall impression for me was sadness and obsession. All the eyes seem to stare at one with great intensity and of course the execution of the painting is brilliant - but it just doesn't go beyond that -... More

We visited this excellent gallery in September 2016 and were really glad we did. This museum starts with a little context in that the artists father and other family members were also artists - so there are a few family pictures. After that it really warms up and it is immediately noticeable that many of the fabulous painting, painted over... More

The tempestuous love affair of an artist and his model draws one to this museum. Inside is stored a lush collection of the artist's works which gives an insight into the man's preoccupations with women, death and faith. A must see for fans of the artist and a great experience for those who wish to delve into the stories of... More

Starts off ok then becomes a bit tedious and was a bit bored by it at the end. Worth a look but don't expect too much.

Super small art museum devoted to this s Spanish artist Never heard of him but recall one of his paintings of a beguiling nude with oranges Blissfully cool and a retreat from the searing heat outside so you can appreciate the art whilst luxuriating in the cool air It's mostly in Spanish so it's worthwhile to look him up on... We visited this museum, really a family art gallery, whilst at the square. Brilliant 20th century artist. Only gave 3 stars in case visitors don't expect this. As with all major attractions in Cordoba (except the Mezquita) it's closed on Mondays.Free for 65+ (show your passport), 4.5o€ adults. Very cheap if buy a Monumental Pass for 8.40€ as also includes... More

Small museo of a local painter. He paints very good portraits and so very sexy nudes (women of course). We had a really enjoyable visit. Be warned it closes early in the hot season (think it was 15.30 unlike TripAdvisor stated). Took us about 45mins to go around. recommend if you like art.

First, because of my ignorance, I thought this is a museum for a bull fighter. After getting in I realized that is something totally different, and I don't regret this visit. The museum is one of an artist and even is not one of great names his operas are beautiful.
