Beautiful cathedral. 5 euro to enter. Don't forget the bell tower. You have to exit then turn right to enter the bell tower. Great panoramic views of Cadiz

There is no denying that Cadiz cathedral is beautiful from the outside. However, when I entered the cathedral I felt the inside did not live up to the promise of the outside. There was a chaotic queuing system as hoards of people were trying to get in to the cathedral from the large number of docked cruise ships. Once past... More

Nice views from the outside, best from the walking path behind the church towards the ocean. Possible to access the tower of the church without visiting the church itself. The small chapel with all of the floats used during Semana Santa is located behind the cathedral and free of charge.

The audio guide provides a interesting details about this very impressive cathedral. We also were glad we decided to climb the tower as the 360 degree views from the top were spectacular (.. although we hadn't anticipated that the bells would begin ringing while we were standing under them!)

I know they are all unique and have a personal history. Maybe just had enough of them for now. Under renovation as most are so at its best and worst I suppose.

We visited the top of the cathedral tower with our two young children (6 and 3). The views are truly magnificent although once you're up at the top you won't need longer than 15 minutes there as it's really quite small. The walk up didn't take as long as I expected as there aren't steps but ramps. I think there... More

Magnificent exterior and beautiful interior - lovely dome from inside & out & some wonderful statues - the steep stairway up the tower is really worth it for the view from the top

we had the pleasure to be in the cathedral with musicians rehearsing. what an impression this makes while visiting. but even without music, this is definitely a site not to be missed while exploring Cadiz.

Lovely Cathedral in the centre of Cadiz. 5 Euro entrance fee which gets you in to the cathedral, tower and museum. Well worth a visit!
