Went out with Robert on last day of our holiday in Puerto Banús, short drive along to Estepona for a 4 hour trip aiming to have a relaxing day, swimming and hoping to get a glimpse of some dolphins. Day was very still so there was little point in putting up the sails, Robert had heard through his network that some Dolphins had been spotted some 2 miles off shore, so we went looking for them, sadly all the boats heading for them, including a couple of noisy ones scared them away, so Robert throttled back and we ambled slowly along while Robert scared the horizon, "Dolphins' he shouted and off we went, on getting close to them he slowed down and and we spet the next 20 mins running along with dolphins off the bow and swimming under the boat, it was a goosebump moment, my wife was almost in tears, never forget it, the Dophins were getting fed up and belated off, so we decided to stop for a swim and my wife had a great time in a rubber ring with a glass of wine in here hand, "idyllic" she remarked, then followed some lunch and more wine (sadly I was driving) because we were static with engine off, as we were eating lunch, we noticed the dolphins coming back, and within a 300m radius there must have been around 100 of them, some jumping high into the air, others smiling right up to the boat, Margaret (my wife) couldn't resist and jumped into the water, the closest the dolphins came to her was around 10feet, but she's having it and now claiming she has 'swam with dolphins' Great Tour, Great Skipper, the Best Day Thanks Robert, we had a ball.
