We lived in flat by the beach - lovely place! Pretty view and fine beach. Very windy. At night there are many thieves crawling round and getting close to people staying on the beach 😲 watch out!

The most elegant of Malaga's beaches starts at the old lighthouse, Faro and winds a long way further. It is open to the public everywhere and there are green patches of grass for picnic, blue Art Nouveau benches to rest upon and showers for cleansing after a dip to the Mediterranean. Beach restaurants serve freshly caught fish and ice cream... More

There were five key sites to Malaga and Playa de La Malagueta was the city beach, a block from my apartment. It was a like an afternoon at the park with sand but it is a beach. I guess I'm spoiled when it comes to beaches because Malagueta did not wow me. There was no sunset view. I believe I... More

Easily accessible. Playgrounds all along this beach make it a firm favourite with families. A large variety of restaurants dotted alongside the beach ensure everyone can find sonething to satisfy their tastes. Kiosks and shops offering all the necessities will solve any problems.

A wide beach, golden coarse sand, seashells underfoot, the smell of the sea, the cries of seagulls... Here I want to return again and again...

Beach was being prepared for the summer season but it was still nice. Some restaurants along the front. To walk out to la pula takes about 45 mins but great selection of cheap restaurants with five sardines costing two euros and beer a euro with a bottle of local wine for five euros. A really pleasant walk

Dark sand, but the the playa is quite pleasant. Lot of facilities just few metres away so good place if you plan to split your holiday between city sight-seeing and sunbathing. It's more than 1km long.

Finding your way around Malaga was confusing for us at first . Eventually we got to find the fastest route to the beach from our hotel - 15-20 mins easy walking . It is a bonus to have this long stretch of beach within the confines of a city . it was not too busy being the start of April... More
