If you are in the art and Pablo Picasso is your favourite you will enjoy this place. The museum is situated in the heart of Malaga near the Cathedral and other places of interest. It is also included in the city tour bus price. The collection of Picasso's work is not very big but interesting. Enjoy!

If you like what Picasso did and want to know more about his life, you should come here for sure. More than the art that is delayed, I liked the history behind every art work. The audio guides are very helpful. It was very enriching to hear about Picasso's life and what phases he went through in his life which... More

Average person, like myself, wouldn't understand much of Picasso's art without a guide. Self-guide also familiarizes with Picasso's life and family, friends and general atmosphere around him. Good thing to see but only a 1- time shot.

This is definitely an attraction that is worth visiting. It was only €7 to see the permanent collection. It is in the most beautiful party of the city.

Not that I claim to understand art particularly Picasso's I enjoy the trip to the gallery. I can't remember exactly how much we paid but there website gives all details. There where large queues and we hadn't booked in advance which I would recommend if visiting. It's located in Picasso's old house adding to the charm and insight of the... More

I have been to Picasso Museums/Galleries in Paris, Barcelona and the South of France. This was the best. Picasso was born in Malaga and left when he was 19 years of age. He left instructions that after his death that he wanted a Museum of his work in Malaga. It is in a magnificent old four sided Spanish house open... More

I've been to Malaga for Christmas Holidays and I could not miss the Picasso' Museum: interesting but too many people in those days!

If you Love Picasso and his work then you will probably really enjoy this museum. We however are only familiar with a limited amount of his work, which wasn't even on display here. We of course had our teenaged boys with us and that didn't help. Just wasn't for us.

Worth a visit if you are a fan of Picasso. Use the free audio guide as there a some very interesting explanations from the great man himself as to why he painted certain paintings. Go early to avoid the organised tours!
