Amazing quiet museum

We found this museum on our way to the newly opened Malaga Museum tahts further along the street and really enjoyed to discover this most famous artist of Malaga.

Very nice place to visit. Good artist but you need to judge by yourself. It is free on Sundays but cost just few Euro.

After the harsh cubism of the Picasso museum this is a gem of beautifully expressed intimate human images . The gallery is open till 8pm and was a quiet haven to wander without competing for space to admire the artwork . Must see !

What a gem. We went on Sunday when it was free but its well worth paying . The man is a true artist who can sketch and paint to the highest order. His work leaps out of the canvas. He captures beauty of (his mainly women) subjects perfectly. An antidote to the nearby Picasso gallery. You don't need art like... More

Only found out because of trip and so pleased I did. Superb small gallery excellently curated. 2.50 euros inc an audio guide. I have been to many galleries around the world and this is up there with the best. Highly recommended.

A superb small gallery dedicated to the works of Revello - fantastic artwork and well worth finding. Beautiful portraits of his wife/family and others, exquisitely painted. The eyes and hands are the best I have seen. The artist is still alive, but no longer painting and has donated his works to this small gallery which, in itself, is worth a... More

Wandered in on spec. Thought it might be about bullfighting. Turns out to be an artist who left his works to the city exhibited in an old style Malaga dwelling. Interesting enough but we were alone in the exhibition and the staff though pleasant enough were fairly laid back. No facilities to speak of and not air conditioned which made... More

I went to this gallery during the feria in a very busy Malaga. What a find! A beautiful old timbered house built around a cool courtyard which housed works by Revello de Toro on 3 floors. I didn't know this artist before but here was a man who captured portraits in a sublime manner. Seek this place out next time... More

I had beten the long lines and packed Picasso Museum and was wandering the streets when I stumbled on the Revello. I had never heard of him. But, wow... I am glad I stopped in... Cheap, pleasant, small and wonderful exhibits. Art aficionados should stop here as well.

This is a small art museum in the centre of Malaga City, quite close to the Port and near many shops and restaurants. The museum is cheap to enter just Euros 2.50 for an adult with concessions for kids and older folk. Revello de Toro is an accomplished artist. He clearly was fascinated in female beauty as most of his... More
