La Carihuela is a nice place with a wide beach, souvenir shops and lots of restaurants nearby. The promenade is great for strolls to Benalmadena and Torremolinos.

Such a long sandy beach with a gradual slope into the sea. Loads of beach restaurants and kiosks all along with the old town set back in the middle. Loads of options for sunbeds and several water sports places.

Lots of choices to eat and drink to suit all pockets. It manages to retain a bit of the fishing village atmosphere despite all the tourist spots

We walk along here every time we are in this part of Spain, and go to a couple of restaurants and a favourite Chiringuito. Always good vibe, good food and good music with a full Spanish experience. You need to go and enjoy it.
