Nice palace and grounds. Great for the architecture and courtyard gardens. Lots of walking. No furniture/furnishings to see. Needs booking as only a limited number of tickets are issued per day.

Definitely the best what Granada is offering. I can't add anything new to the million words written by others about the beauty Alhambra. The only what I would like to say here is that you should book your tickets in advance in order to escape quite long waiting in the queue.

All the words are said about the place.. We booked it in advance and were there at time... Then we found out that it is not permitted to bring a stroller with us to the palaces... Our visit was spoiled.. Our son is too big to carry all the time (and dosn´t want that) and too small to understand how... More

What a sensational place this is! Arrived early at 10ish and managed to park in the adjacent car park, cost 10€. Our booked ticket, €10 for over 65s, was timed for 1.30, but didn't realise you can access the Generalife and gardens before prescribed time. Queued for access to the palaces at 1.00. Good job because by the time we... More

Number one place on our trip to Andalucia. Spent about 6 hours with two kids. Don't miss! Book tickets in advance on ticket master which there is an English version with some bits in Spanish which are quite easy to understand or use google translate. Make sure you buy tickets for children even though they are free. Collect using your... More

We used a guide which we thought would be great but she chose to conduct the tour 80% in french rather than 50/50 french/english. Even so it is a spectacult place to visit with lovely views

It was my dream me and my wife to go to Andalusia and Alhambra, we choose to do that over our 20th wedding anniversary and do it in winter, the reason is this will be a long walking tour and having cold or pleasant temperature will make a big difference And it did, we were lucky it was cold but... Your best bet is to buy your ticket in advance, online. They are very strict about the time slot, so arrive early and do the gardens first if necessary. The grounds are very large and quite beautiful. The Generalife Garden and several other structures are included in your admission. There is a public parking lot (not free) or you can... More
