We had a private guided tour and it was fantastic although of course it is very crowded. The place is stunning and well worth the effort of getting tickets before you arrive.

We had a guided tour. The guide just related and repeated silly facts the whole time. Nothing much to see and miles to walk.

Both Nasrid Palace and General Life are really nice (probably one of the best Moorish style architecture still intact). It's expansiveness, the overall layout and location (surrounded by hills) make it a great day (or half day) out. It is not jaw dropping or stunning...More

You have to book a long time in advance. I booked ours as soon as they became available which was 6 months before we visited.
