My husband and I were wowed by the view of Granada and the Alhambra, and enjoyed the hippy-punk-alterna-scene in the plaza. People were playing music, juggling, practicing acrobatics, and more.

Awesome place to get good pictures of the Alhambra and the city. We also went up in the bell tower of the church there (€2 a person) and got some neat pictures from there. There's also a water tank/fountain with drinkable water to fill up water bottles or drink from for free.

Great view of the Alhambra with Sierra Nevada behind, and lots going on late afternoon when it wasn't crowded. Get a space in the local cafe below the Mirador for a drink with the same view.

Great views, nice atmosphere and nice little Tapas bars around. Wish we could have been there for sunset.

This is the prime spot to gaze at Alhambra and the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains. Don't bother with the bell tower of the church - the views from the plaza are plenty.

We were there around 11am - the sun was high and it was difficult to get a good shot; but the view was really great - you can see the mountain range behind it. I can imagine how lovely it would be during sunset. It is quite cheap and easy to get to using the C2 bus. After that, just... More

Best place to see the Alhambra from the outside. Located on top of the hill, you can see city of Granada too. It just a few minutes walk or you can get a taxi to get here. But I suggest walking. Really crowded. If you hunting for pictures, forget about setting your tripod here. Almost no room for it.

This is a great spot to view the sun setting over the Alhambra. Stay until dark to see the palace lit up at night.

Planned to be at Mirador early to avoid the well-known busy periods. This was an excellent decision as there were few hawkers/street artists and no coach parties. Views were spectacular. Nearby cafe was also good for a coffee break whilst we were waiting for the Mosque gardens to open. The gardens were worth a visit and, if the Mirador is... More
