This is a basic mercado in the heart of the tourist area and right next to the Cathedral in Granada. It has a mix of stalls selling fresh fruits, fish, meats, cheeses, olives, and other items. Right next door is a bread shop. The prices...More

The ownner of the appartement we rented strongly recommended we should go and eat fish at the Mercado San Augustin. Well, we went and ... returned. There is a small unassuming restaurant at the end of one of the food alleys, where indeed the seafood...More

Conveniently located pleasant market for meat and fish shoppers. There's also two fruit vendors and a cheese counter that serves wine on the side. Hold on to your wallet at the sole pastry shop as they deftly OVERcharge unsuspecting tourists.

A lot of the market was closed on Monday. What was there wasn't impressive. I'd skip this one. Not worth the trip unless your in the neighborhood

This is a clean and modern market located in central of Granada. A wide selection of fresh meat as well as jamon and cheeses, a few vegetable stalls but the seafood is mainly frozen stuff. Clean toilets can be found here.
