We had seen the tower but didn't know you could go up. We had the place to ourselves and got a completely different perspective on the city from the top. It was an interesting walk from the city centre too.

I visited the Torre de los Perdigones ('Camera Obscura') last year and the memory has remained so I am re-visiting & taking a friend as I was both impressed and moved by the work of our ancestors.

We came across this as we walked up from the river towards the old town walls. To be honest we didn't know it was going to be there. It was 2 Euro to have the basic view and 4 Euro for the camera obscura view. As the chap running the show didn't speak English and our Spanish is zero we... More

This tower is part of a 19th century pellet factory. The Camara Oscura gives a wonderful all round view of the city. There is a lift and entrance is 4 Euro.

At least it feels like forever. From the top you see so much of Seville that it is breathtaking. You can use the stairs or the lift. The building itself is interesting and the payoff is a chance to take a photo to show back home that will make them want to come to Seville.

A really good and ingenious way of seing Seville. The guide was really knowledgable and friendly and access to the camera was by lift or stairs, which was good. Stunning views not just by the camera but from the from the balcony around the top. Well worth a visit.

We have a camera Obscura in Dumfries, but this one has guarenteed clear views with a low expectation of rain! The tower itself is a lovely structure, set in its own beautiful gardens, and even without the visit to the camera chamber , it is a good find, as they had, on the weekend we went, a bouncy castle, a... It was hard to be entirely certain if the tower was open: the guide takes group up every 45 mins or so but in between times it is locked. Glad we waited 35 mins or so: the camera obscura is relatively modern and provides really excellent views of up to 10km. Very informative overview of city sights especially if new... More

First, it's worth checking the opening hours - we ended up coming back the next day, because it was closed during the afternoon - so that you don't travel up and have to wait. That said - wow! This was the most rewarding €4 we spent on our holidays. We were met at the door by a charming Sevillan, with... More
