Very disappointing venue. There are some potentially interesting old flamenco footage videos to be seen yet the images are barely glimpsed at behind sort of a veil, the images are distorted and the sound is poor. On the floor to ceilings screens ,while there are no visual distortions, the sound is once again very poor and not synchronized to the images. Throughout... More

We went to the 7pm intimate show with a free glass of cava included in the price. The hour long show was great showcasing a brilliant guitarist, impassioned singer and a male and female flamenco dancer. We really enjoyed the show and were so impressed by the quality of the performances. Try and sit in the front row so you... More

The quality of the dancing, singing, and guitar playing were outstanding. Alas, the audience couldn't rise to the occasion---they had no idea how to enjoy themselves! No clapping along, barely a smile among them. It dampened our enjoyment and I imagine that of the performers. All of the seats had excellent views, and a small bar sold refreshments.

A nice flamenco show but not that special. The chairs are tight and unconfortable. The address is difficult to access (go walking). If you want a popular experience of Flamenco, this is not the place.

We are very sorry that your experience was not as good as expected. All the workers of the museum strive every day to improve the service and we will take good account of yours words. We have different artists and different shows everyday, so, I beg you to forgive that bad experience that you commented and allow us a second... More

We attended the 7pm show and whilst the dancing/singing/guitar playing was very passionate, I agree with other reviewers who would have liked some explanation for what we were seeing. There was clearly a story being told but because I didn't understand it, it didn't move me as perhaps it should have done. However we then joined the 8pm walk with... More

We are very sorry that your experience was not as good as expected. We always recommend to visit the museum before and after the performance to better understand what the show includes. They comment about the style to be danced and in the rooms of the museum are simple explanations of what is each style, not difficult and very visual... More

Our hotel recommended the 'intimate' show at the Flamenco Museum, and we reserved for the 7pm performance. The intimate show is held in a long thin downstairs cellar, with two rows of seats along the long wall. When we arrived (20 minutes before the show) the front row was already full and we had to sit behind, which meant that... More

Thanks for your comments. In the vault we have only 40 seats and we try to place them in a way that most of the audience can see well the show. It is an intimate show, without microphones, in which one can hear the breath of the artists... But you are right and our recommendation is to arrive as soon... More

The dancers put on a great instrumental, singing and flamenco dancing show. The members all appear to be members of the same family and have been doing it for many generations.

The entire place is one of a kind. The museum introduces you to the history and evolution of flamenco in an interesting way and the shows are absolutely mind blowing. The museo has the best Sevillan artists and the space has a unique charm.I have also taken flamenco classes in Museo - I am a dance teacher myself and found... More
