Best view in town

Take the lift to the top and walk the spiral staircase, the most amazing views of the river and town are from here. Would recommend to everyone visiting the city

The lift is located just to the rear of the Basilica (just outside the back door). For 3 € you can get to the first platform in the tower where you have amazing views across Zaragoza (on a clear day you can see the entire city). You can then climb to the very top of the tower via a spiral... More

Well worth the low price tag to go up the elevator and then the long flight of stairs to get perfect views of the city of Zaragoza and the roof of the Basilica. Even if you don't like heights (unless you have extreme fear), you should be able to go up the elevator to the first level. The roof of... More

The open-side elevator takes you in no time to the top of the tower. If you want to reach the highest point, you need to take a few steps through some narrow alleys, which is a nice experience. Once you are up you can look around the city and than you see how big it actually is. A must do... More

This was on my list of must do in Zaragoza and it was definitely worth the stairs. Chose a great day and had amazing views.

It's a cheap activity with no time limit. As long as you aren't afraid of heights, or small narrow spaces, then you will be fine! Lovely views on a clear sunny day. Don't go on a busy day (weekend) as it can be a bit sardine like. The roof of the basillica is lovely!

This provides the best view in the city and if not scared of heights is a must for all visitors to church. The lifts takes you almost to the top and offers a great view for those not able to mange the spiral staircase to the summit.

The elevator only takes you part of the way up; from there you have to climb stairs if you want to go to the top of the tower. The floor around the staircase is clear, so you can see all the way down--great if you love heights, but not so fun if you are prone to vertigo. The vistas of... More

Actually I just reviewed this as part of my review of the Basilica...silly me. This is great fun, but beware if you suffer even the slightest vertigo you will be wishing you hadn't got in the lift.

We arrived here at night and we're lucky enough to have a hotel right next to it. So, we first walked around it at night and took some amazing romantic pictures. The next day we went I side to see the amazing architecture. This church is still in service and free. Be respectful.
