We had to pay to enter the cathedral and we were given a guide leaflet, available in several languages. Inside there are 19 chapels, each with a descriptive pillar telling about it in English and Spanish. There was an organ recital while were there, which...More

This is a paid for attraction and as a result it's quieter. You get a free English guide so you really can understand the artwork. It's quiet and reflective and well worth a visit when in Zaragoza.

Don't miss this gem of Zaragoza but mind they close at least 30 minutes before the service. The official opening hours are not respected, unfortunately.

This was the highlight of my trip to the city. A feast for the senses - you must see the tapestries as well as the cathedral.

Maybe we should have visited the Goya Museum after this cathedral, because we found the cathedral to be the most depressingly opulent one we have seen (we've seen many in 20+ years of traveling in northern and western Europe). La Seu has two dozen chapels...More

Seo is the word for 'cathedral', one of the four feminine Spanish words ending in -o which are not an abbreviation. Pay attention and do not miss the old mudejar (Moorish) wall and the older part of the Seo, outside. The restauration of the inside...More
