We happened upon this by chance and we sure were glad. The views are spectacular and are a must see. The cable car is cheap and a novel way to climb the mountain. Plenty to do on top also for all ages once there. A...More

The furnicular is relatively cheap and the views are stunning. Very suited to families with children as there is an amusement park at the top. It's not the best amusement park by miles but the entire experience is a fun day out

This was such a worthwhile experience. We rode the funicular (cable car) up, which is always a fun way to travel. The ticket counter was a little crowded, and very disorganized, when we arrived at about noon on a Sunday. But we got our tickets...More

Superb view on San Sebastian. Only 3 stars because the attraction park at the top needs an urgent revival. It has some attractions which are very out of date. I cannot believe the attractions are still save for kids. It's a pity such a nice...More

You get a nice view although you have to pay for it. The amusement park was small but nice though a few rides were closed because of the rain. I would suggest not going on a rainy day it may ruin your experience.

When you get out of the funicular you arrive in a slightly tired looking fun fair which kids seem to love. The highlight of this visit is the views across the city and the surroundings. Its worth the 3 euro fare!

When we arrived on the top, we had to pay a fee to get in. Not to bad, but still a bit chrange. On top there was a oldish fair, where you had to pay for everything. The view is amazing, shame on them for...More

Popular place for tourists! I can see why: great view on the San Sebastián bay! A lot of animation for children, and a small restaurant with terrace. It's a must on a sunny day.

We had the benefit of staying at the hotel Monte Igeldo at the top of the mountain. The views across San Sebastian and beyond were breath taking. There is a great Funicular that takes you up to the top for around 1 Euro each way....More

We went to Monte Igueldo twice during our visit to Donostia and our kids loved it both times. We took the "funicular" up the hill both times. The first time, we spent most of the time at the attractions (eg bumper cars). The second time,...More

About 5 mins, nice views, and lots to do at the top, and that's if you just go for the different views! I would strongly recommend going up the castle tower to the Best View in the World, and afterwards have a surprisingly... More

We were in a tour bus that went up the mountain but the road is narrow. Otherwise, cars shouldn't have a problem.
