This is our favourite building in Palma. It combines great architecture, technical design and superb artistry.
Elegant, light and beautiful within and striking from outside
There are occasional exhibitions and displays but we prefer it when it’s empty and we can stand in awe of the building itself. .

Wandering the old town Palma you'll come upon this square shape historic edifice.
It was built in 15 c as a sea trade exchange venue, and is a terrific example of Gothic architecture.
It is free to enter, but with nothing to see apart beautiful arches. On a small square in front are several bar/restaurants to cool down.

There are so many fabulous buildings in Palma, this being one of them. It is lit cleverly at night, but is worth a visit in daylight to see the work inside. Gothic arches and amazing acoustics, make for a great building. Good spot to collect your thoughts.

The historic maritime trade exchange is a beautiful Gothic building with delicate columns and a fascinating vault. The building is located in the south of the old town, very close to the cathedral La Seu. A masterpiece of civil Gothic architecture in Palma.

La Llotja is a structure located near the seafront of Palma de Mallorca. Its Gothic construction is particular and makes it appear halfway between a small castle and a church. It was a place of trade and exchange for a long time.

Magnificent example of Catalan Gothic architecture. Evidently it was a fish market and was also used for general commerce given its proximity to the port. Later it was used as a warehouse and later as a cultural center. Admission is free and access is free.

Very impressive 15th Century Building, kept in Fabulous Condition, large open space with large spiral columns reaching right up to the Ceiling lots of detail above fabulous made Building. In the evening lovely up lighting really creates a stunning atmosphere. I would recommend a visit whilst in Palma. Outside there's a lovely little Italian to have a drink and take in the view.
