Beautiful church with some interesting artefacts only let down by the lack of explanation in any other languages. Would have liked to know more and as photography was not allowed in some areas we didn't like to have phones out to google translate.

We were so long having an excellent lunch that this was closed when we arrived at 4:00pm on a Tuesday. Suggest you come here first and then lunch!

We visited the Cathedral on a trip to Betancuria. Whilst I wouldn’t have driven across the island especially to see it, it is a beautiful building which must be one of the oldest on the island. Don’t miss going into the side chapels especially the...More

Lovely old church in the original capital of the island, small but nice. However it was guarded by a rather fierce local lady who to put it kindly was not very welcoming

We were very fortunate to see this beautiful cathedral as its only accessible by car and as you have to drive up several mountains and well worth the visit and had lunch in their restaurant which was very reasonable.

lovely little church in a fabulous location, entry is by 1.5 euro donation, and its worth that to keep this place as it is.

We visited Betancuria following a visit to the Mirador de Morro Velosa. We opted to take one of the trails from the car park that led us to the older part of the village passing a number of information signs explaining the history of the...More

The hour drive from Corralejo is so worth it. The old church is absolutely beautiful, can take a walk inside for €1.5 The wooden ceiling in a room off to the side was beautiful, sadly photography isn’t allowed inside.
