Really scenic, great views and enjoyable. The drive up is spectacular. The walk to the rock is just over 1km and takes say 1 hour. Our 7 year old was absolutely fine. But take trainers as flip flops a problem. Oh, and you must park in the parking area (which is packed and not enough off). We joined 50 others... More

1,1 km from the crowded parking area took about 45 min up and 25 min down. A stunning view from the top! Manageable with sport sandals but good shoes warmly recommended...

Me and my girl walked here from the parking lot, which took about 30 minutes. The walk up gave some awesome views, but the top was thick with clouds. Visibility 10 meter. It is sufficient to say that a day with clear skies would have been better, though the mist created a Mars-like landscape from the cratered lava stone.

Amazing view! Felt like swimming in clouds, could see Tenerife from there. Easy walk up there though!

Easy to find as the road signs are very clear and timely. A bit of a walk and climb to the top and it is deffinatelly worth the effort and time getting thee. Be sure to pick a clear day for the visit as the place can be lost in low hanging clouds. The weather can vhange quute quickly in... More

Beautiful drive through stunning mountainous scenery to get to a VERY big 100 metre high rock perched on a mountain top. You will need to park your car and walk. The walk takes about an hour to reach the rock. Take strong footwear and beware loose gravel and boulders etc. Bottled water and some food are a good idea as... More

The spectacular rock is actually quite easily accessable. From the parking lot there is a short half hour's walk on a good path. One should however wear good shoes. Bring also warm clothing as it can be chilly. The parking lot is quite small and fills up around 10. There are a few parking possibilities in the area that involve... More

Get out of the concrete jungle of Maspalomas and head for the hills. The roads are sometimes rather narrow, winding and have steep drops - the drive through the mountains is not for the faint hearted and you must never attempt to drive these roads in heavy rain as they are subject to landslips. The scenery is just spectacular and... More
