Wonderful area just to people watch

We enjoyed this area to sit and watch the world go by, have a nice cup of coffee. There were shops all around and there is the Museum nearby to go to. Peaceful area.

We arrived into Las Palmas off the bus in this park and ended up passing along it and through it most days. If you walk into the town inland rather than along the seafront you will find this park many times. There is a technology museum and a way to cross over to the Ferry harbour through the park and... The Parque de Santa Catalina means different things to different people, the locals see it as a meeting point, somewhere to walk the dog without leaving any trace that they've done so, a place to have a game of cards or dominoes and a major bus interchange point. For the tourists it has the tourist office, the office of the... More

Cheap market, almost all being uninspired clothes on the day we visited. As far as I could tell the park is rows of trees set in concrete paving - no grass. You can walk there in 20 mins from the road with the big El Corte Ingles and you can go from Santa Catalina Park to the commercial shopping centre... More

We walked from San Telmo, along the beach promenade, and after buying something to eat at CC El Muelle we sat down at a bench in Parque de Santa Catalina where we ate our lunch and rested our leg, while enjoying the view. The Parque is located close to the beach. After eating we continued on our way towards Las... More

Also an outdoor bar on the top. Swans and fish in a pond, and many familiar flowers and plants. Spring water.

This park sits very close to the beach and is a welcome open space in a built up area of downtown. Its main use is for a set of bus stops but is a good meeting place.

Went here a couple of times on our walks through Las Palmas. It is lined with many shops, cafès and restaurants. A nice decorated open area. There is a playground for kids and an open area where street shows are done. Buses run through here so be alert! Lovely area and worth checking out.

There was a pop concert on in the park while we were there . There was plenty of police there but there was not any trouble . There was a small cafe at an old chapel on the corner which did a nice coffe

Spacious square, with bars and restaurants on the square, not far from the waterfront Often there is music, or you can watch sports in one of the bar/restaurants Great place to hang out and watch the world go by
