The beach is very clean and not very crowded. The brick promenade stretches a few kilometers and there were several beautiful sand sculptors along the way. There are many restaurants in different price ranges and great pasteleria along the way where you can enjoy extensive...More

One end of the beach was a bit scummy and smelly. Wouldn't fancy a dip myself. The local seafront bars and cafes had a bit of a Blackpool look to them. The other end of the beach is cleaner and smarter. Bars have a classier...More

Great city beach, I've visited many city beaches and they tend to be a disappointment but Las Canteras has a great mix of areas in its almost 4km length from areas for surf to rock pools and all a few seconds from a range of...More

Pretty nice and full of people, great for families. Personally we preferred the smaller beaches on the south western coast, like Amadores.

Need a beach with shopping guarantee afterwards or beforehand? Stay here. Get a parking place in the Parhouse, they are quite cheap. Around 4€ for 5 hours we had.

There is a long promenade near the Playa de Las Canteras full of restaurants and shops which are very expensive. Not all parts of the Las Canteras beach are good, only few of them are very popular and crowded

A direct taxi was €25, but if you want to save some euros you can also take the airport bus to san telmo for€3, then a taxi to the beach for €5
