Magnificent home and gardens open to public (museum, bar and restaurant). Built for Omar Sharif by Jesus Soto and influenced by Cesar Manrique (responsible for almost every architectural tourist attraction on Lanzarote). One of Lanzarote's top 10 I reckon.

Wow how the other half holiday, would love this place as a holiday retreat were it not for the many steep steep and uneven steps! I managed to see all which is open to the public but my husband could only access the pool area....More

My son and I visited this place whilst in Lanzarote. We thought it was amazing and straight out of a bond movie or Despicable Me.

Good experience. Lots of newspaper articles but mostly in Spanish. Took about an hour to look around all the nooks and crannies. Lots of no entry signs though, so not sure how much we were not allowed to see.

We came here after reading all the great reviews and wanted to see the house, pool and grounds, built into a cliff, once owned by Omar Sharif and then apparently lost in a infamous game of bridge. As long as you don’t have mobility issues...More

This was Omar Sharif house (inspired by Cesar Manrique). The architecture of the place is amazing, what a shame he lost it on a game of bridge. I guess he lost his mind when he placed that as a price for the game. Well worth...More

Definately worth visiting! I love Lanzarote and all things Manrique but had missed Lagomar. We went yesterday and it is stunning. There are a lot of steps going up and down and aroundabout as the house is built into a cliff face. My camera gained...More

The restaurant is good - not “cheap” but we found very good value for money. Not really for snacks - more to take your time over good food and good wine with a great ambience.
