You will feel in a different place. The view is just magic. There's a path with pebble stones, feeling like in the middle of the ocean!

Situated in a commanding position to suit it's purpose to defend the city. Well preserved and really worth a look.

I took a local bus to the capital and came across the castle. The walk up on the bridge over the sea is wonderful. You can pay 3 euros or so to gain entry , all the information is in spanish but they have leaflets....More

A great historic place to see and very interesting, however, we were amazed that there was nothing in English so we could not read up on the history of the place! We thought this very bad considering the amount of British that visit the island....More

We walked past the castle ,but unfortunately didnt go in. wonderful setting on the waterfront,and looks quite imposing,impressive looking from a walk past.

Came to see worth it due to what you saw steps within it but it could improve with an audio tour the enterance was 3 Euro each
