There were only two cable cars but as we arrived at 10.30 we were able to just jump on without pre- booking. The day before the cars were cancelled due to wind. Views were great but you need winter woolies as it was freezing at the top. Surprisngly no wild life seen but views were extensive. We visited the nearby church... More

We are lying in the harbor of almarilla San Miguel and went by car doing the Teide ! Highest mountain of the Spanish islands and when you are on the top , it feels like a moon landscape with only Lava and the view over the ocean is overwhelming so if you are on this island you have to do... More

Drove to cable car base in hire car. Busy but managed to park. Spectacular views on journey as it was a lovely sunny day. Walked to cable car from parking ,bought tickets then had to wait 1 hr before able to go virtually to top of mountain. Amazing experience a must when in Tenerife. Walked round to experience fantastic views.

A must for ALL visitors to Tenerife....although the windy car/coach journey of 44km from Los Cristianos may put a few people off who have delicate constitutions.

The best way to reach Vulcan El Teide is to go by car and after- to use cable car to the top. I just try the cable car and did some walk, but I saw a lot of people climbing to the top. Of course you have to be experienced and in good health condition to do this difficult climbing.

After having spent a wonderful holiday on the beautiful island tenerife, the only thing missing was, to go on the volcano el teide by your cable car. That's why we booked our tickets in advance on the website for the 5th of november. Already in the car on our way to the cable car station we got a text message... More

This is the most stunning natural attraction on the island, and the number one "must see" thing in Tenerife. The trip up with the cable car wasn't as bad as I thought it would be - and I normally hate ski lifts. Tip - If you find a spot to stand in the middle of the crowded cable car, you... More

There was an amazing view from the top - well worth the long trip up to the top of the volcano. 2nd visit was just as good as the 1st.

Our family of four (adults) decided to hike El Teide, without an entrance ticket. We did not plan it ahead, and that was our loss. We are quite spontaneous when it comes to these things! Any way, we drove up to the Nacional Park and found a spot to park. We were not dressed properly to the occasion (it was... More

This was my second time on this amazing volcano and I loved it as much as few years earlier. The cable car itself is an attraction but when you get up there, see the views, almost touch the clouds - you will have this moment of reset. Remember to take warm clothes (it can be really cold!) and think twice... More
