Great hike routes and beautiful scenery. Did the circular hike from Taganana with some challenging climbs. Amazing views and nature. make sure to have your reward food at the local 'casa Picar' restaurant with amazing food, (best Carne de Cabre on the island) next to the church in Taganana.

We hiked from Cruz del Carmen to Chinamada and the views were spectacular. The forest is beautiful and you can really see all the mountains so well from the viewpoint in Chinamada. Take good hiking shoes and make sure not to miss this beautiful and green part of Tenerife!

We spoke to the woman at the information centre who gave us a map and detailed the directions for a two hour walk. Somewhere along the line we must have misinterpreted the map as we ended up at the bottom of a valley unsure of where to go or where we went wrong! It took us close to 4 hours,... More

I hiked from Cruz del Carmen to Punta del Hidalgo and scenery of the Anaga mountains are just spectacular. The laurisilva forest is so beautiful but the path was really slippery in places. The markings of the hiking path are not that clear and in places you really need to keep your eyes open. The hike to the Chinamada is... More

There are a lot of curves on the road and there is not much to walk. Not only that the weather is dull and cold.

The Anaga mountains situated to the northwest of La Laguna do not feel anything like the rest of Tenerife. Steep and largely uninhabited they boast prime rainforest, mostly a thick jungle of laurel trees. This was our warm-up hike before climbing Teide the day after. We set out to hike from a viewpoint at Carmen de la Cruz to the... More

Have a great time traveling around these mountains. I liked that there was not so much tourists, but the mountains are magical. If you have a rented card. Spent here a half of day. There is a lot of spots to stop and admire of an amazing view.

For Mountains of Anaga I used a trail no. 25 on the map "Tenerife on foot." Very nice trail with many cactuses and other beautiful plants

You enter into a magical relic forest, yet seen dinosaurs, wade through thickets of ferns, intertwined trunks covered with moss, and suddenly the ocean views with a cliffs. Unforgettable trip!
