Took a very cheap regular local bus to this beach from the main bus station in Santa Cruz for 1.10 euro. I live in Las Palmas so am blessed with what I think is the best city beach in the world Las Canteras. While Las Teresitas is no Las Canteras it is a nice beach. The water looks safe to... More

lovely family friendly beach away from the tourist areas...easiest to get there in a car but the buses do go there also - gets very busy on weekends however...food available in the different kiosks on the beach and the beach is well supervised by the red cross lifeguards...if in Santa Cruz or near there then well worth a visit...

Nice clean beach with safe bay for swimming protected by the sea wall, plenty of parking and facilities at the site.

The beach is civered with very soft sand, infratructure (toilets, showers, parking places, bars, sundebs to rent etc.) is very good. The sea is suitable for young children as well since it is shallow and protected from big wawes.. The only thing I did not lie is the view: you sea the port with large tanker ships and oilt towers... This long beach with sand imported from the Sahara is well worth a visit. Some dispute going on about provision of amenities, not all food kiosks are open. Maybe it's off season. Seems mainly locals use the beach rather than tourists.

Teresita Beach is one of the best beaches on the island of Tenerife in my opinion. I wouldn't say it is beautiful because the oil drilling rigs offshore are not a pretty sight. Sand brought in from the Sahara Desert covers the beach to make a perfect light sand beach. Chairs are available to rent for a small fee. A... More

Lovely golden beach but does get very busy at peak times with lots of locals. Slightly putting off are the large container, oil rig ships when looking offshore spoil the feel.

White sand beach, one and only in Tenerife with saharian sand. Small atol prevent beach being destroyed by sea. Lifeguard on duty. Direct bus service from Santa Cruz. Few food outlets and public toilets.

Easy to get to, free parking, lots of space, sand like flour and wave breaker - great for kids! Struggled to find a really great spot to paddle with kids, but this place is great. Okay there are oil rigs off shore but you can't hear them or smell them (??) so angle your Polaroid at a neat angle in... More
