Centrally placed market open early until 2pm, makes a good visit, even if only to look at the food etc on sale. Limited choice of food to go, though excellent artisanal Italian ice cream can be found. Play area for young children in middle, and places to sit in the central area which is open air. A good visit.

Just great, plenty of local fresh fruits & veggies to choose from. If you are on a self catering accommodation this is the place for you. Plenty of sellers with bread, pastry, herbs, even fresh fish and meat. Hand craft also available, plenty of stalls with jewelry, clothing & other accessorize. Cooked local dishes also available to buy. Huge amount... More

What a little gem. The market had a wide variety of shops which were unusual and interesting. There was lots of street food but we did not sample it as we had only just eaten lunch. Worth an hour to explore

Nice little market, various different stalls. Main purpose of visit was to browse rather than purchase but we still ended up making a couple of small purchases. Didn't take long to cover all the little stalls but it was still very pleasant and enjoyable.

If your in the area it's well worth the visit, lots to see if food interests you. Cheeses fruit Vegetables, meat bread and cakes coffee bars lots and lots. Make sure your hungry when you arrive. We would definitely go back, and just outside some great little tapas bars. Very interesting.

A fabulous market with an unusual layout. There is an open area in the centre with a cafe and children's playground (small and discreet!) and stalls at ground level and downstairs. Fruit, vegetables, cheeses, meat, delicatessen, herbs, flowers and plants upstairs and fish stalls downstairs. The array is stunning and there were many exotic items of fruit, vegetables and fish... Really excellent local food market with a few eateries and cafes. Fish market downstairs I have never seen the like of ever. Made us want to stay in local accommodation where we could cook. Fruit, veg, spices, herbs, teas, sweets in rich variety. Well worth a visit. Also do make use of the excellent local buses to get to and... More

Second visit to this really interesting place. Not the touristy tac on sale but to see the range of meats. fish and fresh vegetables available on Tenerife. So many interesting items to think about. Loved the basement fish market with a combination of locals and tourists alike sampling shell fish and cava - great!
