This station mixed the architeture of 1800' with modern building, but it mantains painting on the walls, all in excelent maintenance. From this station you can take a train AVE - express train - to Madrid, that takes about 40 minutes or less.

Toledo train station is a 30 minute ride from Atocha-Madrid departing almost hourly. Station building is beautiful, built in 1918 with mix of Spanish/Moorish styles. There is hop on/off bus service, but taxis are cheap and plentiful. One small cafe and no shops, so don't expect to buy snacks before boarding train. The station is not heated. Taxi from the... A pleasantly quaint station after the craziness of Atoche in Madrid. Architecture was beautiful but seating was inadequate.

Very impressive building with a. Great mixture of three religions. The woodwork inside is to behold. Take the time to check out the station as it is quite different from most.

Unlike any other in the world. Signage easy to follow. Station had a small restaurant, toilets and a few vending machines. Taxis were abundant.

Beautiful train station on the look in front of the building. Dont rush when you come in to Toledo. Look back to the front of the station as close as you can.

We used this station to catch the high-speed train to Madrid (35 minutes). The station is the terminus and only hosts the trains to Madrid. It has excellent architecture a high-tech ticket office (we were recommended to book our tickets in advance) and an excellent small café for the thirsty traveller

We arrived in Toledo on the first morning train from Madrid and blew the the train station to the on/off bus because we didn't want to have to wait for the next one. After a pretty full day we returned to the station early, because we did not want to risk missing the last train back. This gave us about... More

One would not expect a train station to be so amazingly attractive architectural wise. This station was completed around 1920 in the Moorish style and is a wonder to behold. The detailing inside and out are very intricate and stunning. Upon arrival, it is a wonderful introduction to the ancient city of Toledo.

I never thought that I would submit a review about a Railway Station. This is the terminus for the line from Madrid. Take a look around it is worth a picture or two.
