At first we were hesitant to pay 10 euros to see a church, but this wasn't an ordinary one. The architecture was amazing, better than many other major churches I've seen around Europe. The money comes with an audio guide which is indispensable in helping you get around and understand the area. The El Greco paintings were magnificent to look... More

I have been to 47 countries in the world and visited a LOT of Cathedrals. Catedral Primada is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. It is almost beyond words. You have to see the inside to believe how beautiful the history and art work are within this structure. It is overwhelming. You need a lot of time... More

The Cathedral of Toledo is noteworthy not merely in terms of architecture. Artistically, it is an immense treasury of painting, sculpture, woodcarving...all of quality beyond compare!

You can't miss seeing the towers of the Cathedral as they rise above the medievel part of the city so you have to see it inside. It is massive and because it was built over a long period of time it mixes styles from France and Spain and shows the Gothic influence.

Nothing much to add that hasn't already been said, a quite beautiful piece of architecture, stunning form the outside, but that's nothing when you enter.....an essential visit in this lovely, charming Spanish Town.

This is by far one of the most interesting cathedrals I have ever visited. You purchase your entry ticket and retrieve your headset in the souvenir shop across the street. Upon entry, the sheer size is overwhelming. Wander among the various locales. Make sure you examine all parts of the choir, since there are fantastic carvings on the exterior walls,... More

While not usually a huge fan of cathedrals, the sheer grandeur of Catedral Primada cannot be denied. It took well over 200 years to complete, and the attention to detail is awesome, especially considering when it was constructed. An awesome achievement, and El Greco's masterpiece inside tops all.
