Very good audio guide to this huge and very important cathedral both in terms of architecture and Spanish history. A must visit in Leon.

Don't miss to visit this cathedral. It is a little below some of the top cathedrals in Spain, such as Barcelona, Seville and Salamanca, but still totally worth the visit. Be aware that visit hours are from 9:30-1:30 and 4:00-7:30

There are so many cathedrals it's easy to think another one isn't worth a visit. But please go in here! The stain glass windows cover all the Walls and they are magnificent. They were also made over hundreds of years so really tell some stories. At present they are meticulously being cleaned to bring out their brauitdul colours. Go with... More

Magnificent focused cathedral with superb stained-glass windows immediately inspires a sense of awe as you enter. Helpful phones describe a portion of the church in many languages. Imagine a time where from bishop to rock carver all were focused on one purpose, to complete this magnificent structure. Not possible in multi-cultural societies nor maybe desirable nowadays but you still have... More

Just looked at the cathedral from the outside and whilst it is impressive I wouldn't pay €6 to enter. Leon itself doesn't have too much to see so this is a welcome sight.

I have visited in my Spain journey so much Cathedrales and this is a nice one but not as impressing, as my travel book suggested. But that is the problem of travelling a lot. The Cathedrale is defintly a must to see (because there is nothing better to top it in this city)
