What can we say. We saw the frog, so I suppose I’ll pass my exams! The door to the university is quite a sight. We can’t say much about the interior though we thought the entrance fee a bit much.

Salamanca is a wonderful city you have to visit the second oldest University in the world. Great views over city.

Evening walk round to see the amazing sculpted front and we found the skull with the frog. Wish we could have gone in.

We asked security at the entrance for wheelchair accessability. Adviced to go via the shop. First floor not accessible as yet. Ground floor impressive enough. Fan of fray Luis de Leon!

The security guards at the front entrance were very helpful and showed us how to pay for the tickets using the machine. You can get a reduced price for large families (5+) which saved us quite a lot and we only wanted a quick visit....More
