I loved the old fashioned feel of this shop. All of the dried fruits and nuts were beautifully displayed and of a really good quality. The spices were great too....I’ve stocked up on paprika and saffron. I wish I had bought more since the prices...More

Wonderful old shop. The sales girl was friendly and gave us samples of the almonds she'd just roasted. We bought some of the pulverones (what we call pecan crescents in the South, but these are made with almonds and cinnamon) but we ended up eating...More

If your are interested in food and quality ingredients, Casa Gispert is worth a visit for its roasted nuts, coffee and olive oil selections. It's a lovely old shop and quite near Basilica Santa Maria del Mar and a short walk from the Picasso Museum....More

Casa Gispert has been around since 1851! Do not miss this gem in the old market. Fresh dates, nuts, salts, coffee... Loved this sweet little shop!

Go ahead and ask them about the oven they roast almonds in… You may get lucky and get a tour of their wood fired roaster which is over 100 years old. They’re very proud of it! Our tour guide took us here to show it...More

Wonderful place in the old market. They still toast coffee and beans the same way. Have a wide variety of high end sweets as well as many interesting items. Love the old signs and the people there. Come and shop you will be hspoy

Our food tour guide brought us to this little shop to taste the roasted nuts and they were so delicious that I came back on a different day to buy some to take home. I highly recommend the roasted almonds and the chocolate covered almonds....More
