We were so very happy booking our Monserrat 8 hr tour with Marta. Our party of 4 adults (ages 64-71) were met at our hotel by our driver Milosh and Marta, who filled the drive to Monserrat with stories, information and interesting conversation that the time flew by. Once at the site, we had ample time to ride the funicular train to the viewpoint ahead of the big tour bus crowds, view the Black Madonna and settle in a front pew to hear the boys choir. It was magical. After leaving the big bus crowds behind, we made our getaway to a delightful lunch at a local olive farm (orchard?) where more conversation and much laughter continued. Milosh & Marta deposited us safely back at our hotel with memories of a most delightful day.

Having never been to Barcelona we wanted an overview of the city and we had a fabulous four hour private walking tour with Bego of Forever Barcelona. After meeting us at our hotel, Bego walked us through the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, La Boqueria market, Sagrada Familia and more while sharing her knowledge of the history as well as thoughts on Barcelona today. Her explanations, along with taking us into corners that we would have never found without her, added so much to our Barcelona experience. Making the arrangement was easy, the communication was very helpful and we would highly recommend both Forever Barcelona as well as our wonderful guide, Bego.

There were 10 of us for a tour Saturday, May 18, with Begonia and our driver (whose name I sadly no longer remember and did not write down )-; ) who met us at the dock and showed us much of Barcelona. Bego was EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT-professional, friendly, funny, informative, well-educated about many topics having to do with Spain, etc., etc., etc. She took us places that packed the most punch/interest in the time that we had. She gave us much info on the private tour of the basilica that we would never have gotten had we just wandered around on our own. While we were waiting to get inside the basilica and it started to rain Begonia very thoughtfully found a place under an overhang so we did not get soaked.
The van was roomy, very clean and very comfortable. Begonia was easy to hear and understand.
As our tour drew to an end, we wished we had been on a longer excursion because we enjoyed it so much!

“Bego” and her driver were amazing. We did a 4 hour trip when our ship docked in Barcelona. Four of us were picked up at the pier and the next 4 hours were delightful as we toured the top attractions in comfort. We learned the historical facts and the cultural influences of beautiful Barcelona. We were a little surprised when the 4 hours came to an end so quickly and we were back at the pier! A testament to ~ time flies when you are having fun. Thank You Bego and we would recommend this tour to anyone searching for a company/tour guide

We wish we could give 1000 stars instead of only 5 for Marta. I had been to the Sagrada familia many years ago, but my husband has never been so wanted to make sure we saw it the best way possible and we definitely did that by booking Marta with ForeverBarcelona.
Not only is she very knowledgeable about the history and all the details about the Gaudi cathedral but also shared awesome stories that I believe only real natives of Barcelona and the Catalonia culture would know. She truly loves what she does and it shines through in her presentation.
The Sagrada is such a visual overload so it was fantastic having someone so knowledgeable to point out the things that you should really see and hear about. as if you were not with such a knowledgeable guide, Your eyes would go tired within the 30 minutes and you would not know what to look at anymore.
We skipped the lines and Marta personally guided us through so we were never stressed about anything. And we loved that by the end of our tour we felt like Marta was our new friend as not only did she share so many fabulous things about the cathedral but also about the Catalonia culture and her family.
We could not have asked for a better experience and we cannot wait to come back in a few years to see how even more of the construction has occurred. We have a dear friend who is taking his parents for the very first time abroad, and we are making sure while they’re in Barcelona to have him set up tours with Marta.
Again 1000 stars for Marta as the best private guide I believe we have ever had and highly recommend her!

We had an absolutely fabulous tour with Miriam. She is so knowledgeable about Sagrada Familia and Barcelona has a whole. The views from the tower were amazing and the additional cost for the access is worth it! Would definitely recommend Forever Barcelona. Their private tours give you such a personalized experience! We had the BEST time in Barcelona, largely due to the two incredible tours that we had with Maria ("MJ"). We were staying in Barcelona for 2 nights after a cruise before our return home. On the first day we had booked a half day city tour and on the second day a 5 hour trip to Montserrat. Both were amazing! MJ was punctual, informative and so full of positive/incredible energy. Most importantly, she was very perceptive about our family and seamlessly adjusted the tour to fit our needs/interests. Our party of 6 consisted of my husband, our 2 children, my two parents (one with mobility issues due to a knee injury) and myself. MJ perfectly adjusted the tour to be slow enough for my mom to keep up and at the same time keep the interest of our kids. She was really able to keep all of us engaged which must have been a huge challenge (but you would have never known). She was continuously finding ways to make our time memorable (from finding fun ways to take a picture to stopping for local treats). She even went out of the way on our return trip from Montserrat so that my son could see/take a picture at Camp Nou (Barcelona Stadium) because she knew he had an interest (even though this was not part of our scheduled tour). Each day when MJ left us, she went out of her way to make sure that we had a good plan on how to utilize the remainder of our day in order to maximize our time in Barcelona. She is quite simply the best tour guide we have ever had. I also want to give a shout out to our driver Manuel. We felt incredibly safe riding around with him and he was always quick to add insight wherever he could. He was extremely friendly and very pleasant to spend the drive with.

The half-day Forever Barcelona Gaudí Tour was one of the best travel experiences we have had! We were picked up at our cruise ship in a luxurious Mercedes town car. Marta obviously loves her city and that enthusiasm came through clearly as she described and gave background information about everything we were seeing (not just the Gaudí locations). She thoroughly answered every question we had, including a few off-beat queries about miscellaneous things we saw along the way. We "skipped the lines" at all the attractions and Marta personally guided us through each one. By the end of the tour we felt like Marta was our new friend. It's a bit pricey, perhaps, but worth every penny! Highest recommendation!

ForeverBarcelona was the best money we spent! We booked two tours -- an evening walking tour and a multi-stop tour a few days later to visit La Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. Marta was absolutely incredible and made the tours so fun and engaging for our big group (22 people). Roser was a gem to work with during booking and made everything so easy! I cannot recommend ForeverBarcelona enough!!

Miriam is such a friendly and welcoming guide. We all hit it off great from the start and Miriam was so knowledgeable about Barcelona and Gaudi.
The tour just flowed along with Miriam telling us all about her city and what we were seeing and making sure we didn’t miss anything.
When the tour was sadly over Miriam arranged for us to get a table at fabulous Tapas restaurant where the food was so delicous.
Thank you Miriam for making our Barcelona holiday so memorable.

What amount should we allow to pay for the food, wine and taxi on the Tapas and Gaudi Tour?
Does the €295 fee include the entrance fee to the Sagrada Familia church?

We did not do that tour. We did the Barri Gotic tour and that was all walking. We also did the chauffeured Gaudi tour and there is a charge of around 15euros each.
I really liked the convenience of the chauffeured car and guide because we could see more sites in the 4 hrs.
For your questions on tapas they run from 5-12euros depending on what you order. They are basically appetizers.)

ForeverBarcelona has a van and chauffer or you can Uber from the cruise arrival point to the Sagrada Familia and meet their guide at the gift shop entrance to the cathedral for a jump-the-line tour. You should make these arrangements directly with the tour company well in advance of your arrival (their terrific guides book up quickly).

Sorry, for some reason we didn't see this question when it was posted... So let me answer even if it might already be too late.
Our fees for walking tours in 2016 are €295 for 4 hours, no matter if you are 1 person traveling solo, or a couple or more (our limit is 9 people, though). So obviously, if you are several people traveling together sharing the tour fee, it will feel cheaper as you'll eventually be paying less per person when you split the cost.
As for chauffeured tours, we charge €525 for 4 hours and upto 6 of you (as that's the capacity of our minivans), or more if the group is larger and needs a minibus or 2 minivans.
Our fees don't include tickets (we do charge the fees for Park Guell in advance if you want to visit it, as we need to get tickets beforehand before they sell out - the rest of the tickets are bought at the sites skipping lines). Our guides go in for free (you don't have to buy their admissions - with very rare exceptions in really unusual sites that are hardly ever requested).
