This is slated as an eight hour wine and cava tour visiting three wineries. It is approximately and hour bus ride to the first winery. The scenery was beautiful during the drive. The bus was equipped with televisions which we were shown, basically promotional information videos about each winery before our arrival. The first stop was a small winery. We... More

This was a lovely trip. We could see the carefully tended vines en route to the winery. Greeted by Pep watched a video in a cosy little theatre, outlining the family's history of wine and cava making. All the presses explained charmingly. A mad drive down in the caves where the wine is stacked. A child would love it, we... More

We booked this tour last minute because some previous plans fell through. It is definitely a tour made for tourists. If you are looking for an intimate experience this tour is not for you. The tour guides at the vineyards felt a bit scripted and sometimes had difficulty understanding and questions that were asked outside of the flow of the... More

Wine production now is a part of Europe cultural tradition. It was in the beginning of civilisation and it is still live as a centuries ago. We started in the morning, going to some winery (now it is a part of Torres wineries) and we had a pleasant breakfast. Grape, cheese and wine. We had about 15 minutes to taste... More

Having done the Freixenet tour before under our own steam I wasn't entirely sure how much more we could get from doing this trip but having done it, it was a great experience. Starting at 8:30am we headed to the Penedes wine region and straight to Jean Leon Winery. A very interesting history behind the story of the winery and... More

Really good tour. Guide could nit have been better. BUT WARNING No where on the advert does it say no access to lunch. Pick up is early (be there by 8:15) So breakfast early, but no access to food at all till 3pm. As a diabetic, this could have been a total disaster. I had emergency pack with me so... More

We are visiting for our Honeymoon so we thought this would be a good tour to do. First, we had a good time, no major issues. We were on a tour bus with about 30 people, for that size of a group everything went well. The first winery "Jean Leon" was our least favorite. The winery gave a tour and... More

This wine tour had 30 people but everything was smoothly organized. Ample wines were provided for tasting and little snacks were also provided. Jean Leon winery tended to emphasize his personal history (Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Ronald Reagan) rather than the very good wine this place produced. However, most interestingly, they gave us a barrel sample to compare to an... More

I made a mistake at the time of booking and the company got back to me right away and change the date for me. The bus was clean and modern (for a bus) and the guide tour was very friendly. She translated everything in english and spanish- perhaps it would be beneficial to just do the tour in one language... More
