This is a must see when you go to Barcelona. Located in the neighbourhood of Saint Gervasi, it was an easy 5 minute walk from my uni campus to the museum. If you're in love with science and history, be sure to take your friends, family and kids. Completely worth it.

Definitely not a Barcelona unmissable, but if you have a free afternoon, this is a nice way to spend it. A huge science museum to make the kid in you jump with excitement.

Our kids had fun at the Cosmo Caixa, it is not a tourist spot but to entertain kids it was what we were looking for! Rain forrest was fun and lots of gadgets and things to touch and use. We were lucky to find out about it from our city tour guide!

The museum is not a classic one but an interactive and also surprising place to be...Our kids of 8 and 11 liked it so much...the rain forest jungle was the best of all!

Had a 3 year old son and a 14 year old daughter with me and they both had a great time there. Lots of interactive things for kids of all ages to do and even Dad played a little

Especially good for kids although it is quite fun for adults too! But definetely recommended for travellers with children. For the price (4 euro general entrance), it is a fantastic place to discover how the world 'works'.

We liked everything we saw. I will not add any descriptions, but a few impressions: 1) We easily got there from Penitents station. Turn right and uphill from the station, and then at the big road turn left and keep walking for 15 minutes. Our 4 year old did it. 2) A gorgeous shop! But very few books in English.... More

We visit the Cosmocaixa on regular basis with our 2 kids and we all enjoy it. The pre book activities are great and I will recommend to book some of them. You can reserve online prior to your visit . The museum itself is very interactive and adults & kids can try the different experiences in the main gallery or... More

This is a place for the whole family young and old. I am interested in science and all the interactive displays were fascinating. Spent nearly 3 hrs in total. We were there after 3pm so not a lot of people. There is also wildlife and a 3D theatre. All in all had a great time and definitely recommend.

We chose to go after 14:00 and we did have fewer school trips with us, quite nice smallish crowd so no need to wait for your turn. Very interactive and amusing place where you can learn a lot about physics and biology. Nice 3D film about planets of our solar system, not included in the ticket price but offered additionally...
