We visited for a quick drink before going out for our evening meal. We had walked past London Bar several times as it was on the street between our hotel and Las Ramblas. It was fairly quiet when we were there so we got served...More

The place is a historical place with a lot of character. But the bar fails to remain its characterization, because of new solutions with no respect for the bars history... Besides that it serves pretty good beers and cocktails!

I went here as Im a big fan of Hemingway and Modernism. Anyway, they charged extra for terrible music although we asked about the price beforehand, when we pointed that out the waiters became really rude and said we might get the correct price next...More

The best Negroni this side of Italy! Tongue in the cheek take on the Spanish version of London, complete with Bulldog gin. The bartender is a delight, his take on a Negroni is the stuff legends. Well worth a visit and a digestive after a...More

This bar doesn't look much from the outside with nothing particular to recommend it a far as the decor is concerned but the staff were super friendly and the drink portions were very generous. Nice to sit on a bar stool and chat.

Went in this bar almost every night of our stay because it had so much character, just off Las Ramblas sat at bar watching people go by. Excellent music set good tone. Reasonable prices

This place may have had some good reviews in the past but, trust me it's gone way downhill since then! Visited it on Sunday 8/6/14 for a night-cap as we were staying the the hotel next door. We had 2 small beers and 2 Baileys...More

Opened in 1910, this famous tavern was once frequented by such illustrious figures as Ernest Hemingway and Joan Miró, and even Dalí and Picasso were known to drop by on occasion. The faded splendor of the art deco interior still hints at London Bar’s eventful...More

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this
gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an
excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic
spots in the entire city. A sense of humble
authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
