Fantastic architecture. Beautiful art and amazing tile floors. A must see. There is a back entrance that we walked right in. Long lines in the front.

Happened to wander in one night whilst walking the streets & found a full choir & band playing. The church itself is amazing to view, but to be treated to a show was the icing on the cake. Free to walk in and wander around,...More

Another one of the main churches in barcelona. Beautiful to behold and contemplate. Surrounded by a nice neighborhood, too.

Cathedral of Barcelona A really cool and gigantic cathedral in Barcelona with high ceilings and beautiful detailed architecture. You can take pictures there and enjoy the lighting and details (I definitely did). The area in front of it is a nice place to chill and...More

Looked great from the outside and I would have liked to go in but unfortunately Barcelona offers quite a lot so you struggle to fit it all in.

Santa Maria Del Mar is an amazing Basilica built in the 14th century. Right in the Born neighborhood close to the Picasso museum. There are times of the day when you have to pay to get in, but it's worth it. Beautiful gothic architecture

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants

Sorry I meant to add that we went just after lunch. I would check the church website for times of services as clearly viewing will be restricted during these.

There is no special dress code. But as usual in every church you should not wear short trousers and you should cover your shoulders.

Not for Santa Maria del Mar, but avoid using something too short, the main problem is in Barcelona's cathedral they are the ones that wont let you get in using anything above the knees or without sleeves
