Best to go to the beach in the morning as it was nice and quiet. Major con about the beach was the amount of sellers on the beach front itself. Every two seconds was a constant asking of a question to buy things and it...More

Although the weather was sunny but cold, we decided to go down to the Chiringuito to have a couple of drinks. It was great enjoying the beach, drinks and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. It was very enjoyable just. Sad that...More

The sandy beach was lovely and we got there about 11am and there were still plenty of sun beds to hire at 10euros each plus 10 Euros for an umbrella, expensive but worth it especially if you don't have a towel. Be prepared to be...More

It is a really nice beach, but is crowded and because of this is difficult to find a place for yourself.

Take the metro and walk just a bit to find a long stretch of beautiful, clean, well-maintained beach front with plenty of bars and restaurants to entertain after the sun!

After a cruise, we had one day to explore this beautiful city. We loved Barcelona and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful waterfront beach area and how well developed and accessible it is for pedestrians and bike riders. Barcelona is a vibrant city of people...More

We were staying at the duquesa de cardona which is a great central hotel. We meandered towards the beach and found various coffee and beach bars. These are exceptionally great value for money rather than the coffee/restaurants in the rambles. We sat and had breakfast...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area

games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line

It varies. You will certainly be able to spend time at the beach but it might be too cold to wear a bathing suit.
