Group of friends and I attended a Friday night show and we didn't know what to expect, but we were all blown away! We had the show plus a sangria and had front row seats and it was only around $40. It started with the band playing and they were impressive together and during their solos and then the 3... More

We bought €15 tickets and were told we would be in the balcony section. Well when we got inside we were taken up to the "private balcony" and i can tell you if i had to watch the show from here the rating would be very much different (a 2 star review!!!). However, as there were empty seats nearer the... More

We loved this wonderful little theater show, they served delicous sangria (a full bar with other drinks) and the small dance troupe was fabulous. The live music was beautiful and dancing was amazing. We really enjoyed it and so glad we experienced it.

I have seen this show 6 times since I have been in Barcelona in the last week. Local hotels will try to steer you to other shows where they receive kick-backs. This show is relatively new and charges a very reasonable rate for top notch entertainment. The shows are always different so you may see them each day if you... More

Looking at reviews for the Barcelona Flamenco shows I noticed that many/most were offered in concert with the sponsor. A potential red flag. These shows are for tourists and are promoted heavily on the street. I was apprehensive that our experience would be like those who complained of marginal food and less than professional entertainment. Flamenco Barcelona doesn't offer food... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
