That was the shout that went up around 10pm on the Sunday we walked 4 miles to the fountain only to sit there from 8.30 as the crowd grew but then started drifting away when nothing happened.Check with tourist office or hotel to see if...More

We walked here from La Rambla easily at night and we felt totally safe. There is excellent free entertainment on the sidewalks, and the fountains were pretty cool. It's crowded, there's stairs and if you had trouble walking this wouldn't be the place for you

We were not able to get very close to the fountain due to the crowds so we could not hear the music. It was worthwhile as we do not have any fountains like this where I live so it was an interesting event.

I don't understand why there are not more magic fountain shows in Barcelona. Ours was jammed with people. Fun nevertheless. Your video will prove to friends that this rivals the Bellagio in Vegas!

This place is a must-see if you are in the city. It isn't open on Monday and Tuesday and plays on the rest of the week between 9:30-10:30pm. Come early to get a good spot. It is always crowded! It's also worth going farther and...More

Really enjoyed this beautiful display. Def competes with the Bellagio in vegas. We didn't visit during the day just in the evening and enjoyed the light and music show along with it. It was completely packed well worth the visit and best of all is...More

This fountain show attracts thousands! A beautiful way to enjoy the sunset - the fountain display is accompanied by music and there are stalls for food and drink.

If you are in Barcelona at night, do not miss the hour long water fountain display at 9:30pm at the Magic Fountain in Barcelona! It was incredible to see the sunset as the fountain danced on!

I did not notice any bars or restaurants near enough to watch the show. There are some lovely restaurants at the top of the old bull ring, now a shopping centre, but would not be able to see the show from there.
