Fabulous

Simply a beautiful place with good snacks, a little over priced food but other than that, just another gem in Surrey.

I have visited this garden this Sunday morning, when was raining. So thee downs are clear-to be wet and muddy;) But the ups are: to be alone in the garden and enjoy the silence and peace. I can not say it is very easy to access, but by car it is OK. There is a huge car park works in... More

This is a really lovely garden with much to see, however if you have not visited before make your first visit later in the year, and you will most probably return for more. Savill Garden is normally a lovely place to visit, however this time of year does not see it at it's best. At the moment there is not... More

We returned to these gardens after a 30 year gap and were pleasantly surprised to find them as good as we remember ,even in late February! There is a car park which is quite pricey, a gift shop and cafe near the entrance. Both looked pleasant but we did not use either! We noticed a new restaurant was due to... More

We regularly come here with our grandchildren. It's very popular in the Windsor area and it's possible to buy an annual pass. There are acres of lovely walks and play areas for the children. We usually take their bikes or scooters as it's safe from traffic, the car park being just outside the entrance. There is a large gift shop... More

However it was in 1968 and they were horse riding in the gardens just a few feet away, escorted by their equerry. Don’t expect to see them when you visit. That said the gardens are more beautiful now than then and have a wonderful naturalistic feel. They are zoned and themed into seasons. Lovely expansive views. Something to see and... More

Free entry, because it was December, however, we had to pay for car parking (normally free if you pay to enter). Pleasant stroll around the Gardens chatting away. Enough to appreciate, even on a cold day such as this. We had our dog, who was allowed everywhere except the restaurant. Snack meal was very nice, although expensive, aren't all these... More

Free entry in January and February but there is still quite a lot to see!! We only live a mile from here so would be rude not to visit. Most plants well signed and some fine specimems. Gardeners friendly and knowledgeable and obviously very proud of their efforts. The temperate house was a nice break from the outside world!! Almost... More

As members we visit Savill Garden regularly. The restaurant has always been poor, so it is good to see it being renovated and hopefully this will improve things. Currently the only facilities are the small gallery cafe which has limited seating. The gardens are still interesting to stroll around though, even at this time of year, and entry is free... More

Went for a nice ride out to Virginia Waters for a nice walk and lunch. Unfortunately we were not impressed the car park was £2.00 per hour to start, then we went to the restaurant for lunch and found it was being renovated so they just had the small area open for soup sandwiches etc. It was awful freezing cold...
