I can be short about the cathedral, beautifully restored after hundreds of years of wars and neglect. They have photos and videos from before and after the renovation so it’s definitely worthwhile to spend some time here.

When you visit Lleida, do not miss the Seu Vella. The cloister is captivating, and the views from the belfry are something to die for. Bear in mind... 270 spiralling narrow steps must be negotiated to reach the top... Certainly not good for claustrophobic visitors...More

From almost anywhere in Lleida you can see this castle and bell tower during the day and at night when it is lit up it is even more dominant. Very interesting from the sheer size of the fortifications but also the historical importance to the...More

This is a must not only for the views over the city and countryside beyond but for the sense of history in the buildings. There are two lifts from the centre of town that avoid the long walk up. Beware it closes at 17.30 most...More
