Great clean beech with a beautiful sunset

Great beach, beautiful sand and an incredible sunset. The water is cold but that's the case for all beaches in the northwest.

As natives to Vigo as we are, we enjoy coming to this marvellous beach, which is only 4 miles from the city centre and also reachable by bus (1.32€ / one way ticket; all day until 23.00h). You can lie under the sun or get your place under the near shady pine trees. There are some summer season bars where... More

Wonderful beach could not fault it! Easy to get to by bus that runs often. Very quiet and peaceful during early morning/lunchtime. Tends to get busier from 3pm onwards.

O Vao’s extremely fine sand makes it one of the most spectacular beaches in Vigo, both in winter and summer. The seafront allows you to walk along the beach; very popular wor sea sports as windsurf and saling. O Vao is linked to Toralla, a private island with free access beaches. It's right next to the Mirambell park, where you... More

Good for families. Wide and open. Difficult to park. Very nice views to the "ria" and Toralla island. Also some of Cies islands.

Nice beach, fine white sand, cold water, normally with a lot of young people. The parking is normally full during summer but special buses are used to transport the people from the center of Vigo.

Great natural beach, nearby places to have a coffee, tapas. Parking a bit difficult on good days. Good for children, because the waves are small.
