The palace is one of the sites in the park. It's nice but not anything out of the ordinary. The park is awesome so it's still worth visiting.

I was really excited to see this but I got there and was really disappointed. I don't understand why this is an attraction. It's an empty glass structure. It's a trek to find too so after all the walking and following signs to find it,...More

The crystal palace is a lovely structure to enjoy while exploring Retiro Park. It was built in 1887 as a greenhouse and is composed almost exclusively of glass and thin steel framing. It’s unique and beautiful but also mostly empty, except for temporary exhibits. There...More

This is weird, and I didn’t understand this building at all. It was pretty much empty but for a few sculptures. Anyway, I recommend a visit if you’re in the area as the pond in front of it is lovely with turtles, ducks, swans and...More

EN: Beautiful building made entirely out of metal and glass. Remind like an oversized greenhouse, but totally empty. Worth seeing, but when that is done 5minutes later, it's more fun watching the turtles in the lake.. :) DA: Smukt Palads ja, og lavet helt ud...More

Since we were already in Retiro Park, it was worth the stroll over to the Palacio. However, I wouldn't make a special trip to the park just to see it.

This building in Retiro is impressive and deserves a short look. I visited in the late evening as the sun was setting behind the trees, and was reflecting off all the glass in beautiful ways. I'd previously seen pictures of the building with different exhibits...More

This glasshouse is the top attraction within Retiro Park. The entire complex looks like a fairy tale palace. Simply beautiful and charming. Entry is free. Some staff were there to enforce no selfie stick rule. There are toilet facilities at the basement. Just outside is...More

If you are already in the Park Retiro, it is worthwhile to stop by the Crystal Palace, although you will only need a few minutes. The structure is impressive from the outside and nothing special on the inside.

Free to get in and during the summer the Reina Sofia museum typically does free temporary art exhibits inside. To find the bathroom, go inside the building, walk all the way to the back - there are two staircases to go down... More
