Zoo is large, well signposted and we were able to see the animals at close, but safe, range. Fab dolphin and birds of prey shows. Aquarium is rather small but the zoo made up for it - definitely worth a vist

This is the best zoo I've been to, ever. Absolutely huge, although some animals were not there - don't know if this was because of the time of year or whatever but was disappointed by that. Staff were friendly, especially with dealing with tourists. Had trouble working out the map because it was so compact. Amazing day, got great photos,... More

When I went in a talked to a lady selling ice cream she said it would take 4-5 hours to visit and I didn't believe her. It took me 3,5 hours and I stopped 30 minutes to see the dolphin show so I was there for 4 hours. Lovely place and a wide variety of animals, some I've never even... More

Went in the summer 2016. Was boiling hot and had little translations in English which must limit foreigners understanding what's going on. We loved the seal show and dolphins were excellent. The zoo is clean and animals seem to have lots of room. The children loved feeding the flamingoes and watching the gorillas. Overall not too expensive and a great... More

The park was really well taken cared of., amazing dolphin and birds show., you could see loads of animals that you only see at the movie. The only thing that disappoints me was the lion, tigers, leopard were sleeping., koala bear was sleeping in the morning when we came in and when we went back, still snooring :-) aquarium amazes... This zoo is a good option if you're in Madrid and looking for something to do. Easily accessible by Metro it has a wide range of animals and a decent aquarium as well. Personally even though I paid 'full price' on the gate I didn't think it was overpriced for what you get to see. Its nicely laid out and... More

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We recommend to purchase online in advance to get discounts of more than 25 % in the general ticket price and great advantages in the online menu. Public transport is a great treat to get to Madrid Zoo Aquarium, both metro line 10, which stops only 900 meters away from the park... More

Public transport is a great treat to get to Madrid Zoo Aquarium, both metro line 10, which stops only 900 meters away from the park or 33 bus line, which stops at the main gate of the park. It is very easy to know in web "How to get" in English. We hope this information will be useful for others... More

Visited the zoo last year with our family for my Niece's birthday. We had a fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

I used the Metro from the city to travel to the zoo, which is a 15 minute walk from the Metro station. There were no queues despite it being Easter Monday, but it got crowded later on. A great selection of animals to view with some in open planned areas and others behind glass or in cages. There were lots... More

The zoo itself is great with a good variety of animals in a nice environment. Sadly the catering facilities are awful, the prices are high and the a la Carte restaurant served food that was simply not fit for humans or animals. By all men's visit the zoo but bring your own food!

Thanks for your opinion and we regret the inconvenient about restaurants. Throughout the park, there are different restaurants with a wide variety of options. When you start the tour, we recommend consulting all schedules in information point or main coffee shop. We always try to offer the best value for money in our catering services so we regret that it... More
