Very interesting natural environment with shallow safe water similar to the Dead Sea - we loved it!. You need to take a good quantity of water to wash feet otherwise the salt concentration can become very uncomfortable for walking when it dries.

You can almost walk completely around the lake, we happen to do it at sunset which was beautiful even had the occasional flamingo as company, very quiet

Faint in pink busy feeding in the less salty water not too far away from the main road, flocks of beautiful flamingos cannot be spotted even in this time of the year. And of course there are other birds and the amazing angel's ladders coming through the clouds...

The place was really quiet The salt lakes themselves were lovely to see, however everywhere we went there was human excrement on the ground. Lack of facilities totally, however the whole village is covered in dog dirt, the place although potentially beautiful needs to drag itself into the 20 th century

This is a peaceful place to relax and float in the water, I love it! I didn't believe how pink the water was first time I got there, its so beautiful. I recommend people to have shoes on, and watch out if you have some sores, it can hurt a little bit because of the salt.

Warning, warning! Do not go to this place with white shoes :D brand new knickers looks like 10 year old converse in 5 minutes. One might think that the shore would be rather firm due to all the salt. Nope, nope, no could not be more wrong. You'll sink like a hippopotamus in a mud bath. The lake up close... More

This is a salt lake which funny color is created by tiny organism living in the water. Although considered safe, there is an official ban on swimming here, so no swimming facilities.

Wonderful place with great view and very salty water. The water is rose!!! It's like a small Dead Sea. Aquashoes are must-have to this visit! The salt is a big crystals and it is very painful to step inside the water without them. Obligatory take few 5-6 liter bottles of water to wash after swimming in it as there is... More

This place was a big walk away but very much worth it. Walking towards it you think you've got the wrong place because its blue but as you get closer it turns pink. Very trippy! Honestly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been and I think it should be on everyone bucket list.
