This old tower is on a hill and the views to the see and down to the seaside are remarkable. Unfortunable the tower is closed and it is not possible to go on the top of the tower. Also the kiosco nearby was closed.

If you're expecting Alton Towers, you are in for a disappointing time at the Torre del Moro. But that's not the point. Typically understated in true Spanish style, the Torre del Moro is a little piece of Torrevieja's history, and the town hall have done...More

The tower has been rebuilt a number of times and whilst probably in the original style it’s a “modern edifice” surrounded by a scruffy park. The tower is one of many along the coast built as a watchtower against invaders and pirates. There are steps...More

Last September 2017, we visited this place and if I'm being honest I prefer to be on La Mata Beach. The square on La Mata is more vibrant. Torre del Moro is fine, its got small garden and it ok to go spend couple of...More

The Torre del Moro is only a very small watchtower, set in a neat area of park and gardens at a high point on the cliffs where the Torrevieja coast line swings gently from a south-easterly to north- easterly direction. A guide plaquard describes the...More

A cozy little park, with a small kiosk. Very pet friendly, our dog gets a water bowl every time we visit it. Great views, took parts of our wedding photos in the castle surroundings, severl years ago.

Walked from our house at Aguas Nuevas (a mile or so), great little place. Tower was closed, but could climb the steps. The park was basic (see-saw, rocking animals) and a little cafe on site.

We came here to see the Torre on the Torrevieja Tourist Train, because they said the train stopped here for you to have a look at, NOT TRUE, the tower is at the La Mata end of town past the Locos beach, and yes the...More

It´s a tiny a little tower and doesn´t give much thrill as such, but it´s worth to go and see just for the view. It´s amazing, especially at the sunset. There seems to be a cafeteria in the park, but it´s always been closed when...More
